x-api-keyor the bearerAuthorizationheader is present- the API key or OAuth token is valid for the deployment you are calling
- proxies are not stripping custom headers
400 Bad Request
Check that:
- required fields are present, including
typefor raw crawl, deep-crawl, and extraction requests - URLs are valid URIs
- numeric fields such as
limitor scoring weights are inside allowed ranges - extraction schemas are valid JSON objects
Run never reaches completed
Check that:
- you are polling
GET /api/v1/runs/{runId} - the run is not stuck in
failedorcancelled - you are inspecting
last_errorand related fields - your client timeout is not shorter than the job duration you expect
Results are missing content
Not every result will have every output format. Confirm that:- you requested the relevant formats
- the source page could actually produce that content format
- the result does not contain an
error_message
Search results look weak
Check that:- the underlying content is already indexed
- the query is specific enough
- ranking controls are still using sensible defaults
- you are scoping by collection where appropriate
403 Forbidden
Check the endpoint’s required scopes, workspace membership, collection restrictions, and Connected Apps revocation status. OAuth CLI/MCP connections have search and MCP permissions, not run-management scopes. For plan-limit errors, inspect details.code and plan limits.
